AIP Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 24 687 349 387) ("AIP Finance", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect personal information necessary to provide our mortgage broking services, including:
- Name, address, date of birth and contact details
- Financial information (income, assets, liabilities, credit history)
- Employment details
- Identification documents (e.g. driver's licence, passport)
- Information about the property you intend to purchase or refinance
We collect information directly from you (via enquiry forms, phone calls, email or in person) and, where authorised, from third parties such as lenders, employers or credit reporting bodies.

- Assess your credit needs and identify suitable loan products
- Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders on your behalf
- Communicate with you about your application and settlement
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009

- Lenders and financial institutions — for the purpose of submitting and processing your loan application
- Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (ABN 51 143 651 496, ACL #389328) — our aggregator, who may hold records on their systems
- Credit reporting bodies — with your consent, for credit checks
- Government bodies and regulators — where required by law
- Professional advisers — such as solicitors or accountants, with your consent
We do not sell your personal information to third parties or use it for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

Your information is stored securely using industry-standard measures. Where information is stored electronically, we use secure servers and access controls. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for providing access in certain circumstances.
7. Complaints
If you believe we have breached your privacy, you may lodge a complaint with us at anita@aipfinance.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and provide a response within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
